Agritech West Africa Expo Kicks Off Tomorrow, Expected to Elevate Agric Innovation

In a bid to foster agricultural innovation and collaboration, the highly anticipated third edition of the Agritech West Africa exhibition, alongside the Food & Beverage Ghana and FoodPack Tech Ghana exhibitions, is scheduled to take place at the Accra International Conference Center from March 19-21, 2024.

Under the esteemed auspices of the Ministry of Food & Agriculture and the Ministry of Trade & Industry of Ghana, this flagship event organized by Wegvoraus Exhibitions promises to be a cornerstone for advancing agricultural practices and technology in the region.

The expo will be launched by Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, Deputy Minister for Crops, Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

The expo has garnered significant support from key entities including the West African Chamber of Agriculture (WACOA), Croplife Ghana, the Association of Ghana Industries, the Ghana Union of Traders Association, the Food & Beverage Association of Ghana, the Farmer Organization Network of Ghana, the Federation of Association of Ghanaian Exporters, Guzakuza, and various regional farmers’ cooperatives.

This grand exhibition is bringing together nearly 100 companies from India, Jordan, Denmark, Turkey, Nigeria, Ghana, UK, Italy, France, Spain, and other countries.

“This event presents a unique opportunity for stakeholders to showcase their latest innovations, exchange ideas, and forge partnerships that will drive progress in the agricultural and food sectors of West Africa,” remarked a spokesperson for Wegvoraus Exhibitions.

With a focus on addressing critical challenges, promoting sustainability, and contributing to economic growth, the Agritech West Africa exhibition aims to be a catalyst for transformative change in the region’s agricultural landscape.
