Ghana to host Agritech West Africa Expo 2024 to spur agric innovation

Accra is set to host the third edition of the Agritech West Africa exhibition, alongside Food & Beverage Ghana and FoodPack Tech Ghana, from March 19-21, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Center.

Under the auspices of Ghana’s Ministry of Food & Agriculture and Ministry of Trade & Industry, the event, organized by Wegvoraus Exhibitions, enjoys support from key entities such as the West African Chamber of Agriculture (WACOA), Croplife Ghana, and others.

The expo will feature nearly 100 companies from various countries, showcasing agrochemicals, agriculture technology, food processing, packaging technologies, and more.

International chambers like ASSOCHAM and CCI France Ghana will have dedicated pavilions. The event expects around 5000 business and professional visitors, facilitating engagements between stakeholders and fostering business partnerships.

Seminars and conferences will run for two days, providing a platform for stakeholders to discuss innovations and address sector-related issues.

Mr. Thomas James, Project Director of Agritech West Africa, highlighted the expo’s alignment with Ghana’s development goals and commitment to value-added agriculture.

The event aims to catalyze transformative collaborations and innovations in agriculture and food processing, promising a dynamic exchange of ideas and partnerships.
