This delicious breadfruit ice-cream created by Danny Baker won 2nd place at the 2004 Kahanu Garden “Ulu Cookoff’
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups heavy cream
- ¾ cup sugar 1 cup firm,
- ripe breadfruit,
- 1 tsp egg yolk
Procedure
- Wash, peel and grate the breadfruit into a bowl
- Beat the egg yolk and the heavy cream and beat till smooth.
- Add all ingredients to ice cream maker for 25-30 minutes.
Then place in freezer to cool. Serve when frozen to desire.
