Breadfruit Ice Cream

This delicious breadfruit ice-cream created by Danny Baker won 2nd place at the 2004 Kahanu Garden “Ulu Cookoff’

Ingredients

• 2 ½ cups heavy cream
•  ¾ cup sugar 1 cup firm,
• ripe breadfruit,
•  1 tsp egg yolk

Procedure

• Wash, peel and grate the breadfruit into a bowl
• Beat the egg yolk and the heavy cream and beat till smooth.
• Add all ingredients to ice cream maker for 25-30 minutes.

Then place in freezer to cool. Serve when frozen to desire.
